Replacing rear coil spring on Ford Focus MKII

Model: Ford Focus MK2 (UK)

I' attempting to replace the offside rear coil spring on my Focus MKII. I'm aware that the bolt on the lower control arm can seize and become impossible to remove without grind the bolt off.

I'll be using a coil compressor to replace the spring. With the lower control arm bolt in place, I'll compress the spring and replace it that way. To do this I will need to spread the spring housing by lowering the lower control arm. Can I remove the bolt highlighted in the image below to give me the best chance of getting the spring in?

Note: Shock absorber will also be disconnected.
