Standard Mk8- brake upgrade?

Featured Replies

I'm loving my 1.0, brilliant car and a stunning little engine, but I do think the standard brakes could be a little bit better- are there any reasonable upgrades out there? Obviously I've seen all the silly money ST stuff, but how about the standard car..?

Better pads and discs :)

Strange, I think the standards are really good. Would be nice to get some big discs behind the rims though.

Yeah, but if you don't change your calipers, it's not that useful

Yeah, meant full brake setup.

Can Greenstuff pads be purchased for that year ? If so then just change the pads, fitting bigger discs/callipers has it's problems, like needing bigger wheels, then fitting bigger wheels alters the true speedo reading.
