Hello I have a 1.4 ford fusion and can't seem to get it to start just cut out when I was driving home 

I have had the timing belt checked and thats not snaped but when u try to start the car or prime  the fuel it sound like airs escaping or a hissing sound near the Manuel fuel pump.any ideas what it could be ? Thanks
