Changed battery on Ford Focus Estate 1.6 TDCI 2011 now centre screen dead and no radio etc.

Featured Replies

Changed the battery on 2011 Ford Focus Estate 1.6 TDCI 2011 Titanium. Since then the centre screen is completely black with no light or anything and the radio etc doesnt work. It is the upgraded Sony stereo etc. The hazards and door locking still works but everything else is completely dead. The two fuses in passenger footwell appear ok. Anything else I can try? The screen on the steering wheel is fine and air con etc below is working fine. I didnt take a pic of it before work this morning but have posted a picture of an example of the type of stereo it is (the picture is of a working screen and so not mine!!). Not sure if its linked but the cruise control randomly stopped working a week or so ago before I changed battery.

Did you find out what was wrong with this as my car is the same as yours and I am now having the same problem. The centre console screen is completely blank. Thanks.

Did you reset the BMS? That might help.
