Heat gauge is normal, water level is normal but I noticed a it boils in the colant bottle.

So why do you think it is over heating if everything is normal?

So it's not overheating then. Don't fix it.

Put some effort in your posts if you want real help.

Hi Luke, have noticed that in the last 48 hours there have been dozens and dozens of new 'members' all asking one line questions. I've answered loads of them but no response from them as though they never come back to read the replys. Also strange amount of new none UK members. Its almost like the board is being spammed.

I'm going to stop replying to newbies for a while. I would love to know what the normal daily rate is for new members and what it has been these last few days

Are you sure is boiling. Whilst the engine is at temp fill the coolant bottle. Don't open in just feel the plastic. It's prob not boiling its just air you see.

Have you overheated.

I have the opposite my engine is taking ages to heat up lol

Sorry about the spelling lol feel the expansion bottle if it was boiling it would be really really hot and miss shaped

if yours is ecoboost then a boiling coolant after a hard drive could be normal, its not boiling, its the electric auxiliary coolant pump operating to cool down the turbo 🙂

as long as there are no coolant loss, engine oil is clean , and temp gauge reading normal then I think your car is OK  🙂
