2014 fiesta 1.2 pet not cranking

Featured Replies

Hey there . New here  with problems . Got a 2014  (64) 1.2 pet fiesta . Wont crank .  Ignition switch working .  Fuses and relays working . No excitation feed to starter relay but feed leaving ignition switch .  It's a manual if that changes things . Running out of ideas  many thanks dave   ps bump start and runs normal  .  And a while back lost earth to Heater fan relay  if that has any connection

Have you located the start inhibit relay in the battery junction box?
Can you hear it click when the key is turned to start position?

I found a starter relay  small blue . Is there 2 or just 1 ?  The starter relay I have found there is no excitation feed to the relay but there is power feed switch side of the relay

Small blue doesn't help, can you upload a pic showing its location?

Top left relay in the fuse box . The relay upside down is the heater fan relay which I dont have an earth too either

My autel  scanner can't make any head nor tail of it either .

That's it.

Remove the relay and check for voltage at connector pin 1 with the key turned to start position.
Connect meter ground at battery/body. NOT pin 2

No voltage as of last night but will check again now

Nope no voltage at all

OK. The diagram I have shows a 43 pin connector in the passenger A pillar, which is between the key start switch and the relay pin 1.
The diagram might not be accurate but look for the connector and reseat it if its there. Also, this connector has the blower motor circuit passing through it.
