It wouldn't of been an option I would have chosen but since it's in the car I've found it a good addition tbh. More eyes on the road than you would with a conventional dash. No idea if you could fit it afterwards as I dont know if that part of the dashboard where its housed would be the same as a " normal" dash as it doesnt sit on top so to speak.
