Auto headlights and wiper sensor keeps ‘falling’ - Mk8 Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a Mk8 Fiesta Titanium Ecoboost.

I know this is likely an easy fix but just incase anyone else has had the issue and can offer advice.

Twice in the last year the sensor for my auto headlights (full beam, not daytime running) and rain sensing wipers has ‘fallen’ - this means the headlights are on full beam constantly even when in bright sunshine and the wipers don’t work at all regardless of rain.

The car is in warranty so I’ve had it repaired twice, but does anyone know how I go about fixing it myself if it (inevitably) happens again? They have assured me it won’t but my trust issues aren’t great.

Thanks in advance
