Ffred Posted May 7, 2021 Share Posted May 7, 2021 Hi, I would say that you stayed in Drive and applied the handbrake. It is easier to keep the footbrake on but can cause dazzle to following drivers. You could select N but you would still need the handbrake, and this causes slight wear when the drive is re applied. You take your choice! Obviously being stationary in any gear is not a good thing for a long time, but ok at traffic lights and railway crossings. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
