Afternoon,

I'm having to remove both headlights, as one has a broken/snapped upper bracket, and one's internals move around and wont adjust, so i'm guessing that's also a new one.

Fixing the previous owners bodges...! Joy!

Anyway, after having a quick look whilst on my lunch, i'm guessing the front bumper will have to come off to remove them both fully?

Any tips etc for doing so?

if the MK8 is anything like the MK7.5 then you just remove the fixings holding the housing in and then pull the housing out, the bumper shouldn't need to come off

Doesn’t the Mk8 have a “quality enhancement” or whatever ford call it to rectify the fact that early Mk8’s were susceptible to broken headlamp mounts?

Thanks for that. I cant quite make out what Number 5 is showing...just a locator?

Its just showing that after you loosen all bolts you have to flip the headlamp out and up 😊
