I've recently purchased the Fiesta 18 St-Line 1.0 Ecoboost and have 2 questions;

First one is with regards to the induction kit on Aemotorsport (https://www.aetmotorsport.com/products/airtec-motorsport-induction-kit-ford-fiesta-st-line-mk8?variant=39401406496948)

It asks for hose colour but also gives the option "no hose required", so my question is, do I need the coloured hose? I don't want to purchase it without the hose and then realise i needed it! Tried searching but couldn't find the answer online.

I'll be looking to have it mapped to stage 1 in the future as well.

Second question is with the Sync 3, I've tried to connect my phone through wifi tethering but it just sticks on "connecting" has anyone else experienced this? 

I've tried the search on here but looking through some of the topics, couldn't find the answer.

Do you need the hose? No the kit will connect to the hose on the car already, if you want a different colour hose then buy one.

is the kit not cheaper direct from Airtec?

Do you not connect the phone via Bluetooth not Wi-fi?

Ahh makes sense - thanks for clearing that up.

Price wise is around the same if i'm going for a pipe which I think i probably will just to tidy the engine bay up a little. I've been looking at engine covers, still not sure on which yet.

I thought I could tether the car to the phone to download the updates for the Sync 3, I think the other option is to use the USB.
