2006 MK5 Fiesta Battery Tray Mount/Bracket/Holder corroded

Featured Replies

Hi all.  I'm not sure exactly what the part would be called, but it is the metal Mount/Bracket/Holder on which the battery tray sits.  It is badly corroded, I don't know if this would be an MOT fail?  If so I need to replace it, but am not sure what to actually search for, or if there is an associated part number.  Have had a good look myself for a few hours now, but am not sure if I'm searching using the correct term?  Whether a replacement is even sold?  If a replacement is needed to pass MOT.  Any/all advise or input would very much be appreciated at this stage.  Thanks in advance.

Tray Assembly, Battery. 1213039 Petrol, or 1323751 Diesel.

I'd go to a scrappy first.

If it looks like the plastic battery box would come loose, I would replace it

Amazing, thank you so much!

If you go to the Catcar Site, and select "English", you can find part numbers, and the diagrams can also be quite useful.
