ERRATIC RUNNING - on damp mornings

I have a 07 1.6 petrol fusion, which runs ok all the time , however when started from cold on particular damp mornings, it splutters farts and chugs like an old tractor !! Engine management light flashes on and off! Up until the car reaches normal runnin temp 70C - at this point everything is fine ?? Can anyone help ??

    Sounds like plug leads need replacing , as they get older the insulation starts to break down and it's usually worse when it's damp.

    I would agree with that, or an actual spark plug at fault if not been replaced at service interval.
