Hi all , purchased a fiesta 2015 titanium x 33000 miles on the clock. from Arnold Clarke last Friday 7th may for £7600 inc my trade in Over the weekend It started to smell musty , around the drivers foot well. I could feel the damp up under the accelerator pedal. Same under the glove box. Took it back Sunday , and they booked it in for tues. they have acknowledged there is a leak but cannot locate it after stripping the car back. Got a phone call today to say they are having to send it to their body shop , which will probably start on Monday. My dielema is this. 1 how long will this take 2 will my car ever be the same again or 3 am I within my rights to ask for my money back, as I paid cash for the car. Any advice and knowledge of this problem would be much appreciated .

1) As long as a piece of string. Seriously, it just depends how quick they can get it in the workshop, and then how fast they can find the leak. Most parts are available same day with these cars.

2) Not sure what that's supposed to mean?

3) Yes, you're well within your rights to ask for a full refund.

Hi many thanks for your reply, it’s much appreciated. They have had it in their workshop and stripped it back, and can’t find it, so they are now sending it to their body shop , which I would imagine is going to be a major strip down . By my no 2 dielema will it ever be the same again I mean will the leak be gone forever and will my car be put back together like it was at the Ford factory. Many thanks once again for your reply
