I’m hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction, my mondeo mk4 (09) Speedo starts well below zero then when starting it goes up but still under zero.

I’ve not seen anyone with this problem and it’s starting to bug me! The Speedo seem to lose its self and then it has a mind of its own! The strange thing is it works fine in a morning but as I’m driving home from work it’s gets stuck and I have to use my phone to tell me my speed.
