I am interested in a Mondeo 20TDCi 2013 vintage. Mileage 80 K. What are the pitfalls with this model, do the desiel pumps still disintegrate like earlier models. Cheers Mr R.

    I don't know much about the 2.0 diesel, but I've not seen much about potential pump failures. Common problems would be dpf regen issues, trailing arm bushes failing and noisy front top suspension mounts, corrosion on the exhaust mounting hooks. There may be more, hopefully others can advise.

    Check the service history for the replacement of the trailing arm bushes as they were an advisory on its 2018 MOT. https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/
