Afternoon, have fitted a tow bar to my Galaxy, and in the process of fitting ECS wiring loom, but cannot get the fuse/relay blocks to move as have to to place part of this loom into black fuse/relay block, have managed to split top one off, but other two won't come apart. I know a tow bar fitter will know what to do, but funds aren't that flush.

hope some-one can help. 

Should be similar to my Mondeo, from memory all 3 parts are joined and needs to come off the mount as one and then you'll have access, or can split if you need to. Think it's only two lugs you need to release.

 

Have managed to split one off, as you say need to get off the main mounting, have unclipped top of mount but cannot get the bottom one off, and no room !!!!!, thanks for your reply.

There are 4 lugs that need to be unclipped, 2 on each side, and possibly only on 2 parts of the whole fuse box.

 

Your last pic, is what I have BUT mine is the other way up, and its the bottom clips I cannot reach.

ah, see what you mean, I have the Galaxy/S-Max Haynes manual (primarily for the 2.2 engine details) and it looks like the folded down seat is in the way?

seats are flat, the lower part of the mounting is below the load area, cannot see the clips per say, its all by feel, keep thinking their must be an easy way !!!, thanks for your help and idea's so far.
