Joaoferreira
Hi there just had a wheel alignment done today at kwik-fit. my front left wheel has a slight negative camber value, so I’m wondering if this is ok, as the mechanic said he couldn’t do anything about it, but it was ok, as what’s important is the toe? Front left: camber -1°01 caster 1°26 toe 0°13 front right: camber 0°22 caster 1°41 toe 0°11 rear left: Camber -1°07 toe 0°10 right left camber -1°04 toe 0°05 Thank you in advance fir your help. Guest
New or Used vehicle? If used you could be looking at a worn wheel baring. also, if Used, this could be a sign of a worn control arm bushing.
Joaoferreira
It’s a used van. The mechanic said what was important was the toe, and the fact that the camber was slightly negative didn’t matter.
Guest
If you start seeing some uneven tire wear, then it does matter.
TomsFocus
Probably been clouted on a kerb and bent the front strut. You may get a little extra tyre wear, but probably not enough to make it worth repairing.
