Hi all, I’ve got an ST150 and I want to keep it! Engine is burning oil but my local (highly trusted) garage say that you can’t refurb these engines and it’ll need to be replaced.

Surely you must get people that refurb ST150 engines? Do you know of anyone in South West UK?!  Or am I best to go for a 70/80k second hand one?

Budgets limited to about £1.5k really.

    Go second hand. Once you start stripping it you might find the bores are knackered anyway.
