Ford Fiesta 2012 Blowers only work when ignition turned

Featured Replies

I got a jump on my car the other day and it blew the immobiliser fuse. Since I've got the car running again I've lost the blower / AC

Thought it was a fuse but they're all okay - the AC and blowers fully work then the key is turned all the way as if I was starting the car but as soon as I let go of the key they turn off completely

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You tried turning all electrics off within the car, remove ignition key, then disconnect the main battery under the bonnet, leave for a few minutes, then reconnect the battery and then restart the engine, see if that has sorted the problem out, our car went dead some 6 years ago and had a similar sounding problem.

Yeah I left it unplugged overnight - it's really odd - if I'm driving an able to put the key into ignition 3 the blowers work fine?

Have attached a video of what happens when I let go of the key, tried to reset ecu and checked fuses
