Fiesta Mk7 radio replacement.

Featured Replies

Hey everybody thanks for taking the time

to read my topic.

I have just brought a pre loved mk7 Ford Fiesta 2009. The previous owner had replaced the original radio with a Sony radio from a different vehicle. He said that the original radio had a problem with the circuit board hence the reason for replacing it.

He mentioned that phone button on the new Sony radio didn’t work so he installed a parrot so he could have some hands free capabilities. Which is great but I want to be able to play music from my own phone via Bluetooth some I’m desperate to get it working again.

does anybody have any idea what could be the problem?

ive thought about pulling the fuse to reset the radio however I’m frightened of locking myself out of the radio with the anti-thief system.

But I also thought it could be the Bluetooth module?

any input would be appreciated!

Is it a Sony stereo fitted to a mk7 fiesta or another model altogether?

This won't happen.

Remember not every pre-facelift mk7 had Bluetooth to start with, so worth checking if the module is fitted above the passenger footwell.
