2009 Fiesta Zetec Trip Computer – Blank Display

2009 Fiesta Zetec Trip Computer has stopped working, but everything else seems to be okay. Digital display started to flash on and off, then went blank. It sometimes came back, but later it stayed blank. A few days later the trip computer display retuned and it stayed on for the whole journey. Since then, it sometimes briefly flashes on and off, for up to a minute. Not sure how the odometer etc work, but is it a faulty part or an electrical problem?

    Hi! did you find a fix to this? i have a 2011 Ka and my digital display just has the red back light but no numbers or writing of any sort on the display.
