Towbar electrics

Featured Replies

Hi all need help got a towbar electrics to do on my Ford mondeo 12 plate titanium hatchback, I have run the wire in to the boot and found the wires I need to wire up the the 7-Pin Universal (Bypass) Wiring Kit  it's the black box that the wire from towbar goes to and the other wires goes to the car wiring and has a 12v wire to it, but I have rear led lights can it be still wired up the same, I hope some one can help please, thank you

The wiring will be exactly the same. Are the LED lights on the rear of the car or on the trailer/caravan being towed?

Rear or the car as my car is the facelift one thank you

Since its a universal kit and not connecting to the BCM of the car, just wire the kit as if you had standard lights.
