Posted this in the Fiesta forum but also here in case any non fiesta owner has had a similar issue and can help?

 

Weird issue on my daughter's 2017 Focus. When ignition is switched on the clock displays current time, but then stays at that time until ignition is switched off then jumps to new current time. Grateful for any ideas.

    The clock is just stuck in its update loop.

    Have you tried adjusting the time manually and setting the wrong time then switch off, wait a while and switch back on and reset the correct time.

    Check that the date has not got itself set for some imposible date like 31st April 2021

    and if all that fails then disconnect the main car battery for 10 minutes and reconnect, it will force a reboot of the cars modules.
