I recently installed a Pioneer double din into my 2015 ford fiesta and I am having some issues with my steering wheel controls.

Sometimes they work fine but sometimes for example the volume up would change the song and the skip song button would go back a song. And then the volume down button would turn up the radio.

However, I was able to control the top sync screen on the first turn on but soon as I restarted the car I wasn't able to control it since.

Has anyone installed a kit like this before and had similar issues. Or does anyone know what the issue can be?

 

I have had a replacement connect2 steering wheel control box and that has done nothing.

The cables have to be connected in the correct order for the system to work properly. See video below.

You could also try first pulling the audio fuse behind the glove box as this cuts power to the module and essentially resets it but it doesn't always work. If it does happy days no need to disconnect and reconnect everything.
