Windshield wipers not working properly

Featured Replies

I have a 2016 Ford Focus SE 2.0L and the windshield wipers will only work when you pull down on the lever for a single swipe. Any other settings and the wiper blades go straight up on both sides and stay there making a jiggle back and forth about a half an inch every 5 or 10 seconds. Then I have to get out and pull down the passenger side first and then the driver's side. When I get back in and push the lever down it will do one swipe just fine and keep doing it as long as I keep pushing it for that single swipe...which is VERY ANNOYING!  Anyone have any ideas? Please?

Sounds possibly like a problem with the BCM (body control module). Check all the connection plugs and sockets for signs of water or corrosion.
