All modules error issue

Featured Replies

I have a ford galaxy 2010 2.0tdi and just the other day I had a few modules loose communications hill assist and abs both showed errors on dash, now 3 days later I have power steering malfunction engine malfunction esp off abs malfunction transmission limited etc

Basically all modules have lost communication, so I disconnected the battery overnight, reconnected and all working again I went to work and 5 hours later same again all errors shown, I can eventually start the car it has none of the functions so no power steering etc but I can drive it home,

So now I decide to check battery I get 12.35 volts idle and when ignition on I get 13.8v when engine on anyone else had this issue and was it just a simple battery replacement?

I'm having similar issues. Mine seems most likely to play up when it's been raining. It starts okay and within a mile will start showing errors and sometimes go into limp mode. Sometimes, it clears and drives okay and others will be okay after turning it off for 10 mins or so. Haynes manual says the PCM/ ECU is under the left hand/passenger wheel arch. All I can see is something that looks like an alarm sounder. Any idea where the PCM should be ?
