Fitting new engine, does it need to be same code if coming with no auxiliaries?

Ive been searching for a replacement engine for my 1.6 tdci fiesta, looking for engine code TZJA, ive spoken to a breaker and he says its doesnt matter about the engine code if its not coming with any auxiliaries, can anyone shed any light on this please?

Bare engine should be interchangeable as long as it's the same number of valves (8 or 16).
