Tyre Pressure Sensor Not Detected

Featured Replies

Hi there, I have a 2016 Ford Fiesta Zetec S. When I was driving, I had the tyre pressure low alert come up. As soon as I put air in, the sensor message came up. Surely it cannot be damaged from that? Could too much air be the reason?

thanks for any help.

Hello

Have you had any tyres replaced or wheels refurbished? I ask this as i had my wheels refurbished and they didnt put the sensor back in.

Hope this helps

Hi, you need to go into the settings and reset the tyre pressures

My son had new tyres fitted to his car, straight away the dash was telling him of a fault, turns out the tyre garage had smashed off the rear of the sensor on the inside of the wheel.

Warning just wants reset in vehicle settings.

Hi there, thanks for reply. I did this and it went off for a day or two then came back on?

I’d say it’s damaged - it says ‘not detected’ no check tyre pressure

mine is the same - I have the sensor just need to get someone to fit  it

Have you rechecked the tyre pressures just encase you have a slow puncture?

If all seems OK then just put a couple of extra pounds of pressure in each tyre, do the reset and go for a drive for 3 or 4 miles. If all OK reset the tyre pressure to the correct settings. Reset the vehicle again and that should be it sorted.

If it comes back for no reason then one of the sensors is faulty.
