Fiesta 1.6 TDCI ECU bad connection

Featured Replies

Hello folks !

I think I've got a wiring/connection issue with my 2010 fiesta 1.6 diesel (95 bhp). From time to time during normal driving the engine stalls and a P0251-13 code shows up on my OBD scanner. This code refers to an open circuit in the fuel inlet metering valve. I think my problem is probably caused by a bad connection to the ecu rather than to the IMV itself (deduced after some unplug/plug experiments ahaha).

Would anyone know the pinout of the connectors going to the ecu ? There are three of them and I was thinking about maybe bending a bit more the metal prongs of the connectors or just cleaning them thoroughly will help.

Many thanks ! :)
