I bought my daugher a 1.25 2013 Zetec fiesta, but the vent controls are not working properly.  It is manually controlled system.  I have checked the green cable is attached along with the levers.  I have also bought replaement linkages but that hasn't fixed the problem.  I can manually move the lever to change the flow flap direction (sticks a little at screen/floor) and when connected can turn the dial fully anticlockwise (cable pulls) but when trying to go clockwise (cable pushing) is doesn't play ball.  I have to manually move the lever to get it to start and when it gets nearly to the windscreen only setting the hot/cold dial moves slightly. 

Can't believe it needs a new box assembly but any help much appreciated.
