Car alarm keeps going off

Featured Replies

Had my starter motor fixed a couple weeks ago and as soon as I got it back my car alarm started acting up. It goes off randomly and I have removed possible triggers from inside the car. It doesn’t make a difference so I left it unlocked and now the battery is drained. Also, display signs keep chiming randomly and quickly enough that I can’t identify them. Does anyone know anything I can do about this instead of just going to Ford to sort it out?

car is a Ford Fiesta titanium 2008 new version

If Ford did the repair then take it back ? Obviously they have done something whilst changing the starter motor [Forscan]

complain to who ever did the starter motor for you...

I'm wondering if it's the bonnet switch..........especially since the bonnet will obviously have been opened. I've seen posts on here before about Fiesta alarms going off due to the bonnet switch. Just a thought.........
