Fiesta 2014 - head unit upgrade advice please

Hey all,

So, my Fiesta 2014 ACM has died, and at close to £700 to replace from Ford, and around £100 to replace like for like from ebay.

I am wondering if it is possible to get a newer head unit, with DAB & sat nav etc.... is this possible?

If so, do you suggest any company that would do the fitting, if i acquire a unit via ebay, or breakers??

Doing a quick search, looks like i should be able to get a unit for between £200-£300... but if anyone has already tackled something like this, and have a particular model i should look at, please do let me know!!!!

I appreciate additional cabling would be required, and some software flashing.... just want to make sure i am not going down a rabbit hole, and would hugely appreciate any advice!!!

I am in Northampton, if that helps!

    Definitely possible to fit a DAB and sat nav unit. There's loads of topics on here on how to do it.

    You probably wont find a garage willing to take on this type of work though, it's more of a DIY thing.
