Fiesta mk7 brake & clutch bleeding

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, probably an easy one for someone on here, had a leak on my rear driver brake cylinder, topped up the fluid... Now how do I go about bleeding it, is there an order it has to be done in? And will I need to bleed the clutch seperate?

Cheers!

I'm assuming you've fixed the leak lol.

The best practice is to start from the furthest point and work forward. You may need to activate the ABS pump valves using Forscan and re-bleed if you still have a spongy pedal after.

You shouldn't need to bleed the clutch.

I like to use brake hose clamps so I only have to bleed a small amount out of the caliper itself and a bit of the flexible hose.

Yes leak is fixed 😂

Am I able to activate the abs pump valves on the mobile version of forscan otherwise I'll have to lend a laptop.
