any help would be appreciated.

Just picked up an Acitive x and on the drive out of the dealership the sat nav had a split screen set up showing very close road detail , in particular on the roundabouts , blue coloured line which was easy to follow and in between the speedo it had a turn direction shown there. any way after parking up and playing with the controls like we blokes do i think i`ve unticked something or changed some setting as the satnav only displays a large map now with an arrow on it.

any pointers on what ive unticked .

    The split screen should only display when there is a turn to be made and then it goes back automatically to big screen.

    You will only see the screen that you saw before if you have inputted a destination and are actively using it to get to that destination.
