Weird problem with windowscreen,i have had the car for 7 years and it seems i have a fault with the screen which makes a fault with the wipers.

I have tried 3 sets of wipers and 1 set being Ford but always the same,it seems the drivers side has a slight uneaven bump in the middle so when it wipes and comes back i get a streak which in time goes,cleaned all the screen but feeling the screen has a small Defect like a Lump/uneaven  on the screen.

Does anyone else have this problem so its not worth me buying top wipers as i always get the same problem.

From your description, I’d say the next thing to try will be to replace the screen.
 

Whether or not that’s worth doing, is up to you…. To me it sounds like a drastic move but it depends if you can live with it or not.

I think being the cost of a Heated screen and the sake of the streak does go eventaly i think i will have to live with it as a new screen it a lot of money for a 2011 Titaniuk car.,

I was just seeing if anyone got the same problem as £10 a pair wipes are just as good as £30 pair wipers,i have now put Rain-X on the screen as i had some from my Motorbike days to see what it does,more of a irritation than a major problem.
