Reading through another thread on this forum, it got me thinking of how to  improve the performance of my MK8 ST-Line 100ps while still keeping its current fuel economy. 
 

I’ve never considered remaps until now so I’m looking for advice if I should or shouldn’t do it. Any drawbacks? Pros and cons, do don’t etc.

One drawback is that it might affect your insurance.

Warrenty is my only concern. Insurance should be affected to much.

Won't have much left on a 2018, if not expired already, unless extended warranty has been purchased.

I went with a Revo stage 1, very pleased with it.

I use my Fiesta on local hill climb motorsport events - I amazed myself by beating my PB in this 100bhp Zetec with no mods other than the Revo. My previous PB was set in a 2002 Audi S3!  Mind you, it was about 400Kg heavier. :-)

When I moved over from the US with my 1992 5.0L Mustang, Adrian Flux were the only one to give me insurance.  Really appreciated that!  Sold that since and now driving a 1L Ford Fiesta eco-boost!  🙂  Getting it remapped at A1 Remapping here in Hull (which is how I came across this thread).  Looking forward to a bit more passing (overtaking?) power on the B roads, for the most part.
