Hi all, 

I have an issue with my 2012 fiesta titanium. The climate control unit is completely dead when in ignition 2. On ignition 3 (starting) if I hold it there the climate unit works. I've replaced every fuse and relay associated - no luck. I've also replaced the ignition switch incase it was that. My question now is if it's the climate control unit itself? Does it have two power inputs? One from ignition 3 and one from 2? I'm completely lost on what is wrong with it.

I have just tried this on mine 2011 Titanium with climate,yes it should work on position 2 and 3 as when car starts it goes back to 2 position.

I would of thought fuse then some wire come off if not fuse as the unit works so i cant see it being the unit.

Checked all the fuses, any idea where a wire might be causing an issue? It's making me go crazy 

Have you left it on position 2 and tried to mess with a few wires,dont mean touch just move them as to me it sounds like ignition to unit but i might be wrong.

I know you say checked the fuse but have you tried a new fuse even if it looks fine,wish i could help more,what fuse does the climate work with on the system.

Someone will shine a bit more light on the problem.

Have you tried messing with the controls when running like pressing some buttons even the off one,might sound stupid but i miss stuff a lot of times.
