explain radio codes

Featured Replies

Hi Could someone please help me understand the code on the radio

AA6T-18C815-XK ITS FOR A FIESTA 2012 1.4 PETROL TITANIUM

I cannot find a replacement head unit that exactly matches but I have found one where the the last 2 digits different

will this make a difference

thanks

Usually the last 2 digits are just the level of hardware for example if yours ends in XK, then XL will be slightly more updated version and XM will be more so. They should all be fine to use.

As long as you get one from the same model (pre-facelift or facelift) and it contains all the same features as your current one (DAB, Satnav etc.) then it will plug and play no problem.
