Has any owner experienced tan mission vibrations when gearbox changes to a gear that shows around 1500 rpm. ANY SPEED. FORD FOCUS 8 SPEED BOX 1000CC ENGINE

Thanks this is very annoying

The MK 4 Focus has cylinder deactivation and it's possible this is what you might noticing. Try putting the vehicle in sport mode to see if it goes away.

Thanks

It is not  a transient vibe it just gets progressively worse until you force the gearbox to change down and increase the revs. By accelerating pressing L or bliping the throttle this only works for a short while and the gearbox just changes up again 1500 revs and starts vibrating.

Thanks for your help john

I have tried sport it does not vibrate but it does not select a gear which results in 1500 rpm
