Water? 2009 Ford Fiesta

Featured Replies

Afternoon (or morning)

Got a leak on dead centre under near the car (around where the gear box is)

It’s got no colour or smell (assuming it’s water)

it’s not spraying but it’s a fast leak…

I know I should be concerned, but how concerned… like get it fixed ASAP? Or can it wait until next weekend?

thanks in advance

It’s possible, not sure what to be looking for tbh.

is there a way to identify if it is the drain?

If it looks like water, has no colour or smell (or taste if you're brave) then it is almost certainly just the condensate from the A/c and nothing to worry about, its normal.

If it were coolant it would have a pink colour and a smell, and you would be seeing the level in your coolant tank dropping.

That’s a relief…

I won’t lie, went a little to fast over a bump. Did not notice it until I was parked up

thanks for the help, true troopers 💪
