Tlbd fault

Featured Replies

My car went in to limp mode so I turned it off an it won't start now has  T1bd fault

What do you mean by it won't start? As in it wont crank? Does the ignition even come on? If so then you should be able to retrieve the fault code.

as Luke says more info needed. Could be battery and alternator failure, and then again without DTC's it could be anything

Right this is a little different from what you described 😂.

If the cambelt is missing teeth the engine won't run until you replace the best. Chances are it's also damaged a few valves inside the engine so will need the head re-building.

Your "in other words" didn't really clarify anything other than write the exact same thing 😂.
Most diesels are interference engines, so if the timing jumps then you do some serious damage.

How can u tell if the timing belts gone?

You just said that the timing belt has teeth missing.

The timing belt is ## %&£@ Broken!
