Reverse camera issues

Featured Replies

Hi

Would any one be able to shed any light on whether this is a dodgy connection or a camera fault please.

It didn't work at all the other day when I parked at work. When I came out later it worked fine so it's hard for me to work out what it might be.

A dodgy connection is likely to be a permanent fault, or a flicker under movement as it struggles to 'connect'. As your fault appears when stationary, I would suggest that your camera may be failing. My reverse camera (although totally different) started off with a flickering error, before over a few weeks developing into a permanent 'no picture on screen' fault...

Thanks @StephenFord

Weirdly enough I went out in it after posting, when I got to my destination it had the same problem, when I got home and pulled on to the drive the problem had gone again.

I agree with your statement, and will start looking for cameras. I bet they're expensive 😞
