Focus 1.8tddi air in system

Featured Replies

Evening all.

Firstly I apologise if this is not on the right section.

My problem started when I changed the fuel filter on my 2004 focus 1.8tddi.

I'm starting to get air in the system, especially around the middle or vent valve  connector on the fuel filter. (where there is two pipes coming off, and a spring clip goes around the metal cover.

Can you please tell me the part number or what the proper name is called please?, as I've been searching high and low on the Internet, even if it means getting a new pipe with the connector included.

I have seen other one's on ebay that look very similar (vent valve) for a vw would they work?

Much appreciated for your help.

Regards Nige
