Just bought a fiesta and I've noticed when it rains the water collected in the wiper tray runs off through the engine, this to me isn't normal. Any comments welcome.

    Is it not the drains from the Heater air intake plenum ?

    I have to remove the wiper tray on both Our Fiesta and Fusion, and clear all the leaves and rubbish that falls off the trees adjacent to our house, making sure the drain flaps are clear

    I'm going to take it off and clean it tomorrow but still the drain hole just drains water through the engine, surely that's not right

    Yes, it's normal. You should see the drain or lack of it on the Focus Mk4.
