Help needed with replacing exhaust

Featured Replies

Hey all, I would like some help in regards to removing the front end of the exhaust on a 2009 fiesta. It's in a ridiculously tight spot with basically no access with a normal wrench.

Has anyone managed to takee one of these off before and if so please share how!

I'm not too familiar with this exhaust layout, but can you not take the wipers and scuttle panel off so you can get access with a few long extension bars, a wobble joint and a socket from above?

You should be able to get the bottom bolt from below using the same method.

Thanks for the reply, i think it might be possible - i have only tried from underneath the car. In the haynes manual it says From under the car, undo the nuts and remove the underfloor cross-brace beneath the exhaust centre section.  This means the large metal foundation directly underneath the flexi pipe with a connection on each side?
