Can I remove Aux port housing?

Featured Replies

Can this small section (pictured) around the USB and aux ports be removed? My aux port fell inside and I'd rather not pay nearly £300 to get it out. If it can, how can I do it? TIA

Yes it just pops out. Just be careful not to damage the plastic trim around it when you try to lever it out. You may end up having to remove the centre console in order to push the clips out from behind.

Thanks for replying. I'm trying to avoid removing the whole console as that feels beyond me. Can I get it out from the front?

You could probably carefully work a thin bladed screwdriver around the edge - if you damaged the cover you can pick them up for £10 max on eBay
