My key removal

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a fiesta s 2013 bought it for my son ,

it has only one key but my key is active how can I remove it

If you only have the one key (you need to buy another ASAP) and its not the master key then the only way to remove the restrictions is to use Forscan.

You need an ELM327 lead to connect to the OBDII port:

https://tunnelrat-electronics.fwscart.com/USB_Modified_with_switch_ELM327/p4541936_17045457.aspx

You need Forscan software (which is free but you will need the £10 licence to allow key programming):

https://forscan.org/download.html

Or you can take the car to a Ford Dealership and for only £200 they will sort it all out for you and provide another key !!
