auto transmission 2019 ST line gearbox oil change

Featured Replies

Does the gearbox oil need changing on my fiesta st line automatic,or is it sealed for life

I'd like to know the answer to that too.

You can and should change it, according to Ford it's not serviceable and sealed for life.

Search for 6F30 (It's the same box) oil change or fluid change on Youtube, it's quite simple.

There's a drain plug at the bottom, you fill from the breather tube at the top  and the level hole is accessible through the LH front wheel arch (wheel off, car levelled)

Fluid is not cheap though.

I'd say change it at least every 30,000 miles

Oh, and DO NOT use any fluid other than FORD Mercon
