Clicking noise on overrun 3rd gear only

Hi looking for help with a problem noise on my mk3 1.6 tdci Zetec s .I’ve noticed when decelerating in 3 rd gear above 20 miles an hour I get a clicking noise can hear it with the window down also only when hot the noise goes if I accelerate or depress the clutch .It only happens in 3 rd gear . I have seen other owners have the same problem but can’t see that anymore has posted a fix for it .Car drives ok and it’s been like for a while thanks …Chris
